Paprika Shrimp & Cheddar Grits w/ Tomato & Sweet Corn

Last Updated on Dec 29, 2016 by TrueBlueChef

The first dish we’d attempt as part of our mail-in dinner adventure was a Paprika Shrimp and Cheddar Grits w/ Tomato and Sweet Corn.  Definitely not something I would get at a restaurant, although I recently had cheddar grits with shrimp, pork belly and kimchi which was incredible.  So I’m game to try this too.

Paprika Shrimp and Cheddar GritsHere’s a look at the ingredients used for this dish.  Everything stayed at a good temperature in the insulated package we received, and the produce and vegetables seemed as fresh as any we’d find at our local grocery store and maybe even farmer’s market.

In addition to these ingredients, you will need a few of your own ingredients and kitchen tools which will be required by the dish.   Luckily, most of them were pretty typical kitchen items.  They are as follows:

Salt & Pepper Paper Towels Knife/Cutting Board
Cheese Grater Zester Garlic Press
Large Non-Stick Pan Medium Pot/Lid Whisk
Olive Oil Measuring Cups Measuring Spoons

The metrics used below are what we consider to be most important for us and hopefully helpful to someone interested in becoming a Blue Apron customer.  However, if you have ideas or questions about other aspects of the meal, please let us know in the comments so we can include them in future posts.  It should be noted that while the meal served two people, it was prepared in its entirety by one person – which means I should wrap this up, because dishes are now on me.
