Tonight’s meal is Brown Butter & Thyme Gnocchi with Maitake Mushrooms, Corn and Swiss Chard.  Based on the picture I’m really looking forward to it.  Before trying Blue Apron, we often made a sweet potato gnocchi with basil that is so flavorful and filling that it sets a high standard for this dish we’re about to enjoy.  I’ve run into Maitake Mushrooms more and more lately, most notably at a restaurant called Log Haven up nearby Millcreek Canyon.  Like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I’m extremely impressed by the dishes we’ve tasted so far, and my familiarity with what’s to come tonight gives me confidence I’ll be singing a similar tune.
