Japanese Black Rice Bowls with Sweet Potato Tempura & Soft-Boiled Eggs

Last Updated on Dec 29, 2016 by TrueBlueChef

Today’s dish was something completely new to me, and other adventure into the world sans meat.  I was unfamiliar with black rice and the ingredient insert portrayed quite a pretty dish.  Not surprisingly, most of the ingredients were new to us and the Japanese radish would prove to be a star.  The prep time was actually about 10 minutes less than expected, and cook time was right on.  The juxtaposition of hot and cold, spicy and sweet was interesting – let us know what you think with your review below.
